LOVE. Love for yourself and each other. This goes beyond compassion or empathy - love is an action word, not a feeling word. Start with love, and most everything else will work out just fine.


AUTHENTICITY. If you’re not doing you, it’s not going to work for long. People need to know who you are before they will follow and trust you - two things that you must have as a leader.


INTEGRITY. Do what is right when nobody’s watching. (And someone is always watching.)


JOY. You may not be happy every minute of every day, but joy is mandatory. Make it; spread it.


HOPE. Without hope, there’s no path forward.


BALANCE. It’s all about humans and business. As a leader, you must hold both at the same time. Just remember that it’s not “busy-ness”. The current badge of honor called ‘busy’ is bad for business. Stop glorifying busy. Solve the problems that create it.


GROW. If tomorrow’s not different and more interesting than yesterday, what’s the point?
