Stop Acting Small.

Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion.  – Rumi

I just recorded my very first podcast! A million thank you’s to Shay Alsahar and Kelly Moser of the Living Ahead podcast for making my first so enjoyable. If you haven’t listened to them yet, you should. And I’ll be shouting from the rooftop when my episode airs so stay tuned for that, too.

I was honest with them and I’ll be honest with you – I was nervous! What if I didn’t have much to say and we ended up staring at each other wondering what we could talk about next? What if what I did say didn’t make sense or wasn’t polished? What if nobody cared about my point of view? That, my friend, is small thinking. How can we possibly be small if, as Rumi pointed out ever so eloquently, each of us is in fact the universe?

We all have so much to offer each other and whatever it is we have to say, there’s someone who needs to hear it. Whatever it is that you are worried about trying, just try it. Whatever authentic parts of you you’ve held back from sharing, just share them. Whatever empathy and love you have to shower on those around you, just soak them with it. You have so very much to offer this wonderful world.

So wear your pearls.
